Loma KOs Kambosos, wins IBF lightweight title

Previous three-weight title holder Vasiliy Lomachenko (18-3, 13 KOs) scored a 11th round knockout against previous brought together top dog George Kambosos Jr. (21-3, 10 KOs) to guarantee the empty IBF lightweight title on Sunday morning at RAC Field in Perth, Western Australia. The talented Loma bewildered Kambosos with his development and logically separated him. Loma dropped Kambosos two times in cycle eleven to end it. Time was 2:49.

In a conflict between previous title holders, Pedro Guevara (42-4-1, 22 KOs) scored a twelve round split choice over Andrew Moloney (26-4, 16 KOs) to guarantee the empty WBC break super flyweight title. Guevara outperformed Moloney to win 115-113, 115-113 on two cards. Moloney won 116-113 on the third card. After the battle, an irate Moloney declared his retirement.

Previous title holder Cherneka Johnson (16-2, 6 KOs) ousted already unbeaten WBA female bantamweight champion Nina Hughes (6-1, 2 KOs) by ten round larger part choice. Hughes was initially proclaimed the victor by ring commentator Lieutenant Dan Hennessy, but the score was reported again minutes after the fact with Johnson winning. Scores were 95-95, 96-94, 98-92.
