First human to receive transplanted pig kidney dies

A man with end-stage renal illness who prior this year turned into the main human to get another kidney from a hereditarily changed pig has kicked the bucket, Massachusetts General Emergency clinic in Boston said.

“The Mass General transfer group is profoundly disheartened at the unexpected passing of Mr. Rick Slayman,” the emergency clinic said in an explanation on Saturday. “We have no sign that it was the aftereffect of his new transfer.”
